Indoors and OutRain or Shine. With reasonable access, The Ice Cream Bike is just as comfortable indoors as out. Check with us if your venue has particular restrictions, but in principle, normal Disabled Access facilities are fine.
Here and ThereThe Ice Cream Bike can be static or roving. Space permitting, your guests will love to see the bike poodling around so they can enjoy a real “Stop Me and Buy One” experience.
Public and PrivateThe Ice Cream Bike is available for both private hire and public events such as festivals and fêtes. See below for more details.
The Ice Cream Bike is available for private hire for events such as Weddings and Corporate Jollys.
A typical booking would be £350 which includes two hours attendance with 100 individual (100ml) tubs of various flavours served by Richard.
2014 was The Ice Cream Bike’s inaugural year and we attended Cycling and Music Festivals, BBQ’s, Sports Days, you name it. The bike and ice cream went down a storm.
To be clear, we cater to a different market to ice cream vans as we have much smaller capacity and serve premium dairy ice cream. For events up to 500 visitors we are perfect, and where a much larger attendance is expected we complement the event as a niche supplier.
The all-important ice cream
Hand-made on St. Joan’s Dairy Farm in Leigh, Surrey, it is gluten and egg-free but very unsuitable if you are dairy-intolerant. Only natural origin flavours and sugar are added, not artificial flavouring, sweeteners or vegetable oil. Trust me, you can taste the difference.
I normally carry Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, Mint Choc Chip, Toffee Fudge and Honey & Ginger but will happily bring other flavours to your event.
This gorgeous young lady is Cupcake and she started her apprenticeship on the farm in September 2014.
